100 Mighty Dragons All Named Broccoli is a math story of one hundred dragons, coming and going to different places and doing things until there is only one left. The dragons do things as humans do – surfing, traveling, playing in a band, doing activities, eating good food, playing pretend, and having jobs. Each time a group of dragons does something or goes somewhere, they are subtracted from the one hundred, and when they come back to the group, they are added back, until the total gets down to one – what will happen to the one dragon left?
100 Mighty Dragons All Named Broccoli is a fun book to read because the math isn’t too hard, it can be done on your fingers or you can practice it in your head; the dragons are also going to exciting places (like France, Hollywood, the moon), and doing fun things (like rafting on a river and riding a bull). The ending is good because you finally read some names besides broccoli. Any kid will enjoy this book because almost all kids like dragons and will be excited to see the next thing that they will be doing on each page.
